William Hofeldt is an award winning composer that was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. While in the University of Illinois, he received an undergraduate degree in music. Subsequently, he attended a graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for music composition. Later in his life, Hofeldt taught elementary and middle school orchestra in Middleton, Wisconsin for fifteen years. William Hofeldt lived in Waunakee, Wisconsin for thirty years but now lives in Sun Prairie.
